This is the first and only fully non-fiction article which I wrote for Praeterlimina, before the hyperstitious, fiction presented as fact element of the project became our main theme. It explores the evolution the legend of St Anthony, and the curious psychology behind its extremely distinctive tradition of daemonic depictions.
